Excellant !!!

A really excellant app for learning the Spanish language.

The app uses several different types of quiz methods to help you remember new words. The multiple choice quiz is the easiest, showing you the Spanish word and having you pick from five possible answers.The puzzle quiz is actually more like a game (hangman) where youre given the English word and select from a grid of letters that turn green or red when selected, depending on whether the Spanish word contains the letter. The write in quiz is the hardest quiz but optionally provides help in the form of a correctness feedback line. This should be turned off once youve learned the words well enough and want to be strictly tested. The flash card quiz/function is more for review than testing and is useful in practicing speaking. The app tracks your progress with quiz scores for each thematic category.

A really useful feature is the priority mode. This allows you to set a priority value (1-5) for each word and then set a threshold so that youre only tested on words you dont know. This is great for eliminating unnecessary repeating of things you already know and focusing on that which you dont know well.

The native speaker audio is excellant and is available all through the app.

Im really pleased with this and once I get through all the vocabulary in this app, Im planning to buy the companion app that focuses on conversational phrases.
